As the youngest of 8, my parents were tired, so it took after school programs to keep me on the right path and engaged in positive activities.

Who We Are
Door of Hope is a non-profit established by Door Creek Church to serve kids and their families on the Northside of Madison. We want to be part of writing a new story where the opportunity gap closes and families flourish in all the ways that God intends.
For the past several years, we have partnered with three local schools, with hundreds of volunteers for thousands of service hours and thousands of dollars. We have also come alongside many other Northside non-profits (Boomerangs Resale, FEED Kitchen, The River Food Pantry, Vera Court, Northport, and Packers Community Learning Centers, etc.) We annually provide over 10,000 lbs. of produce from our garden.
We were excited to open the Door of Hope Center in Northgate Mall, enhancing our ability to serve the Northside. This beautiful facility has great spaces for learning and recreation. We offer a free STEM Program (the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) for Middle School students, an Arts and Rec program along with a Summer Enrichment Program for kids.
